Seborrheic Dermatitis

The Nizoral shampoo has never worked that well for me, even though
Nizoral cream works well on my face. I would try something with 1%
selenium sulfide in it - like selsun blue or head and shoulders
intensive treatment. There is a prescription shampoo with 2.5%
selenium sulfide in it called Exsel. I would try the 1% first though.
Give that a try for a while, then switch to Neutrogena T Gel or
regular Head and Shoulders with pyrithione zinc.

Has anyone tried Clinac O.C. Oil Control Gel? What’s the best way to
keep oily skin (with seb derm) under control? Having almost "beaten"
seb derm, another problem have appeared - shiny, oily skin.

i’m confused… i read that the skin on my face is producing a great
amount of oil and an over supply of tissue… that is why the skin is
flaking…

BUT… the ONLY way i seem to be able to get rid of the flaking skin
is to apply a lotion to it…

with the use of loprox and nizoral, this stuff is all but gone right
now… my color is back to normal, the texture is right, but the
flaking, dry(?) skin is there… looks like sunburn peeling, sorta…

do i or not apply the lotion?
