Is this like your sebderm?
I’m curious. I sebderm another name for eczema? I’ve read a fair amount
about eczema, and always determine it’s not what my symptoms show I have.
My symptoms are limited to my face, and my skin doesn’t really crack, or
itch.
I do however get patchy areas that almost resemble small acne pimples. It’s
not like normal acne that i’ve had: 1) the affected areas are always ‘rashy
patchy areas’, not isolated pimples. 2)It always occurs in the same areas
(above both eyebrows, on sides of face (around the temples), and at times
extends down around the cheekbones.) I also get little dry, brittle areas
around the bridge of my nose, and in the area right around my nostrils.
When I wash these areas, some of the rash is subdued, but my skin stays
scaly and red for a while.
I’m curious because i’d like to try protopic, if my symptoms are like some
of yours.
Thanks

hi jon . it seems u have rosacea more than s.d because from my experience
s.d sufferers dont suffer from the postules and the pimples which seems a
common sign of roscacea ,from being a member of the rosacsea group as a
viewer only this appears to be roscacea symptoms.
but at the same time it sounds as though u do have s.d symptoms aswell
(confusing i know). i can only talk from my experience but most s.d
sufferers seem to get roscacae from steroids and ntg else apart from bad
hygiene in my opinion. i havent looked into atopic or other diseases but
maybe you have roscacea combined with another disease of somekind.
have u been to a derm at all, ?
theyre quite good at determining what u have but curing it is down to
yourself and you on your own. i recently emailed my derm back home and he
had never heard of linda sy treatment ,rosacea 111 treatment or protopic
and asked me to bring back samples of each.now this just shows if they are
suppossed to be open minded to a disease which they admit theyre is no
cure for, and they havent heard of the above they are stuck up theyre own
steroid orientated ars@s and got the blinkers on to others remedies .
its down to us and not them …..in all my experience i have not heard one
and i mean one good comment about steroids and the only good news ive
ever heard is herbal and protopic so far….
oh and heaps of watar which does work …..

Thanks Dave
Yeah, the pimply stuff could hardly be called pimples and that’s my dilemma.
It’s just inflammation/crustyness. The derms I’ve seen differ on their
diagnosis.
So, with Sebderm, it seems that I’m learning that there’s generally no
inflammation, is that right? Pretty much just dry skin and flakes?

s.d there is inflamation because the skin that flakes off leaves exposed
,immature skin which is obviously pinky/red and more open to infections
,sunlight etc etc so redness is involved .but that natural redneess is
different to steroid inflicted redness which is darker and harder to get
rid off
