I’ve had dermatitis for a few years (I’m 19/male). Last year my
dermatologist gave me a handful of free samples of Cutivate.
I have dermatitis all over my scalp, naso-labial folds, chin,
eyebrows, and nose. Cutivate did wonders for my face.
However, as soon as I ran out (a few days ago) the worst flare up EVER
has taken over my face. It’s terrible. My face is constantly
stinging.
Now, I have an appointment with the dermatologist. Should I continue
with the Cutivate, which is a corticosteroid? I’ve read that
prolonged use should be avoided. What should I ask for?
Also, I wash twice a day with Cetaphil and even THAT stings my face

Hi everyone
After reading about timmorrow’s success with using vilantae i decided
to give it a go. Have to say it’s working really well along with my
selenium sulphide shampoo, my skins condition is great and my sebderm
isn’t noticable at all anymore, i’m very happy!
Have to say that when i joined this group i was at my wits end, i
hated going out of the house at all, i felt really self conscious
going anywhere, i couldn’t get into a relationship because i felt so
unattractive and was really depressed. After having joined the group i
tried what worked for other people and my skin is finally back to how
it was about 8 years ago. Just want to say a big thank you to everyone
in the group, you really do all make a difference.

I’m wondering if anyone has had any success with calosol as an
effective means of regrowing eyebrow hair , lost through chronic and
long lasting sebderm in my eyebrow region .I’ve used
nizoral ,daktacort, elidel etc. etc. all to little or no effect.Just
when you think it’s cleared,bam ! it’s back with a vengeance !!
itchy ,flaky, thick yellowish layers of dead unsightly excess dead skin
which when you tweak away has several eyebrows attached .This has been
going on for twenty years or more with the usual peaks and troughs we
all experience but never any lasting improvement .I think the loss
would be less severe if i could somehow break down the dead skin that
holds onto the eyebrow and eventually lifts it away. Any suggestions
would be most welcome .Thanks for the site .I wish everyone success in
alleviating the symptoms of this chronic condition .

Hi
Just a quickie about urine - it didn’t help me (and I’m not going to
bring this up again).
I’m doing well at the moment with my cider vinegar application weekly
and using cetaphil non iritating wash morning and night (apart from the
night when i apply vinegar when I don’t have a wash).
Best wishes to all,
Simon

Hi everyone i have only been a member of this group for about a
month or so but i have some grreat news. I know alot of you might
have tried diets for weight loss or deppresion, but have you ever
tried it for SD? for three months now i have been on a strick diet
with suppliments of natural acidophillus. The diet is this.
Eliminate all yeast, fungus, vinegar, most dairy products and sugary
foods. eat lots of fresh vegtables, meat, nuts and overall healthy
foods. The reason to get rid of those certain foods is because the
intestines of people with SD and many other skin conditions have a
high probability of being infected by to much of a yeast called
candidia. This yeast feeds on the foods you must eliminate from
your diet. When candidia grows in the intestine it creates toxins
which the digestive system canot expel quick enough and therefore
the toxins are secreated through the skin in the form of SD. hence
the presence of certain yeast and bacteria on your skin. not eating
